Public Art

Throughout the villages, public artworks provide a cultural essence of the history and current community of Ropes Crossing.

Ropes Crossing Entrance Sculpture
Location: Ropes Crossing Boulevard
Description:  This dynamic sculpture uses actual railways tracks salvaged from this very site – from the railway that ran along this exact spot. It represents the raising of the tracks to make way for a new era, the new Ropes Crossing community. As the old tracks rise against the sky, the rest on the stacked bluestone wall represents the traditional old-time foundation of the railway line.
