Due to the warm weather snakes are on the move through residential areas - usually in search of water, food, or somewhere to hide. Ropes Crossing is surrounded by bushland and have a number of grassy areas located within the many local parks, which are great places to relax, but in the warm weather we must remember that they are also the natural habitat for snakes. Please take care when walking along creeks and bike tracks, and make sure you keep your dog on lead in parks where snakes may be present.
