Ropes Crossing A Safe Community Committee

Who are we and what do we do

Ropes Crossing A Safe Community is a community-based program which is coordinated by a committee of co-operative and enthusiastic members of the Ropes Crossing community.

The committee was established to identify opportunities to enhance community safety.

In partnership with local council, local emergency and service providers and local businesses, the committee will help promote crime prevention and community safety issued of significance to the local area.

To improve community safety all sections of the community need to work together to make a difference to the environment in which to work, live and play. Community safety relies on individuals highlighting issues of concern, reporting, being aware and developing networks with neighbours. Some people will be more interested in some aspects than others but every member of the community can help make things safer.
