Ropes Crossing Bush Care Group

 

Do you enjoy the outdoors?
Do you want to help the environment but don't know how?
Do you want to meet like-minded people?
Do you have a spare hour once a month?
do you want to become Carbon Neutral?

If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, then we have the group for you!

The Ropes Crossing Bush Care group would be responsible for the maintenance of the Regional Open Space and local parks through activities such as:

- Overall maintenance of the site
- Planting of trees
- Seed collection and propagation of seeds collected
- Coontinue weeding
- Checking of fauna boxes around the site

By joining the Bush Care group you will on your way to becoming carbon nuetral and aid in reducing carbon emissions from the family car.

Volunteers joining the group will participate in the site maintenance tasks as well as having the opportunity to make new freinds and meeting like-minded people who share the same concern for Australia's environment.

The Bush Care group aims to provide a supportive setting, which gives like-minded people the opportunity to do their bit for the environment as well as having fun.

anyone can join (not only residents of Ropes Crossing). It's a fun day for all who participate and you get a great satisfaction from knowing you are contributing to the environment in a positive way.
